- About Us
Our aim is to give you a really comfortable and relaxing 5-day break, far from the hustle and bustle of city life.
We stay at one of the Cape’s most famous country hotels – the Eight Bells Mountain Inn near Mossel Bay, at the foot of the Robinson Pass and the Outeniqua Mountains. It’s set on a 400-acre estate amid green countryside with superb mountain views.
There’s a bowling green, large swimming-pool, indoor and outdoor sun patios, library, tennis courts, and much more. Within the estate there are colour-coded walking trails, and the bird watching is good. Thus much time can be spent enjoying the hotel itself and the immediate surroundings.
We take you on outings every day to nearby beauty spots and places of interest, on the coast and in the nearby mountains and forests. One special highlight is the George Railway Museum and a trip by ’power van’ (a sort of powered railway carriage!) high up into pristine mountain areas luxuriant with fynbos. On another day we visit Oudtshoorn and the excellent C.P.Nel Museum and Wildlife Ranch. You might want to join the group for walk on the spectacular Blue Flag beach at Hartenbos and a browse at the Maritime Museum at Mossel Bay. On any of the days you may choose to remain at the hotel to relax and do whatever you will, and enjoy meals and tea there at your leisure.

Eight Bells Mountain Inn – 4 nights
How active? LEISURE This tour contains much interest and enjoyment but is conducted at a very relaxed pace with only gentle and undemanding group activities. Generally speaking you have more free time to ‘do your own thing’ – to stroll or have a cup of tea, admire the view, and watch the world go by.
R11 400 per person (No single supplement)
All tour prices are subject to change, but once booked and the deposit paid, the price applicable at time of confirmation (excluding airfares/taxes) will remain immune from any possible price increases.
