Landscape Tours

Kruger – 16 August 2018

Landscape guide, Tjomps Rautenbach, spent 3 weeks in August leading 2 groups through the Kruger National Park. Here is a small selection of his wildlife pictures take while on tour.

Dear Greg
THANK YOU Landscape Tours for a wonderful trip to KNP last week.  We spent nights at Berg en Dal, Satara, Shimuwini and Orpen.  It was ably led by Tjomps Rautenbach who is quite amazing as to how he can drive for hours, share his bush knowledge, meet everyone’s needs, cook delicious meals and keep a sense of humour !! Well done Tjomps on a great tour – you are one of a kind!!Please find attached some photos.
Kind regards
Rose Bishop

Dear Greg,
I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the tour and to commend Tjomps for his wonderful handling of such an elderly group of customers. His culinary art of proving delicious meals so quickly after a long drive through the game reserve was incredible and many housewives asked for his recipes.
His knowledge of all the animals and birds was wonderful and all questions were answered without hesitation. We were so lucky having him to lead us.
Thank you for providing such a large bus for the tour. It meant that all the photographic enthusiasts were able to move freely and the rest of us were very comfortable.
Thank you also for the refund for having to share a night with my daughter instead of each of us having a single room.
I have been on many Landscape Tours before and it was wonderful to enjoy another one.
Best wishes,
Janet Meynell

Dear Greg and all the Landscape Team,
I have been meaning to write to you to say how much John and I enjoyed our trip to Kruger with “Tjomps”. He really was a great guide – knowledgeable, patient with all the “oldies”, including myself, relaxed in his leadership, incredibly well organised and a very good cook. What more could one ask!
We certainly hope to travel with Landscape again. As soon as I can organise myself, I will look for the pictures.
With kind regards,
John and Rene Clarke
