Landscape Tours

Serengeti – 22 May 2018

Fifteen clients joined us for a safari of a lifetime to the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater in May. Longtime Landscape tour leader, Pieter Badenhorst was there to make sure everything ran smoothly. He has also shared some of his fantastic pictures that he took. This is just a small sample of them. Thanks Piet.

Hi Helen,
How are you, hectic times now the season is in full swing? Again I had a dream-trip with your Landscape. Even though there were 16 of us everything rolled smoothly, even when the AgaKhan decided  to discard us from his lodge. Pieter and Sanjay managed to move us the Retreat and what a place that was!!! I am always full of admiration of the patient friendly way Pieter handles us all even so many and not always easy too.The drivers were wonderful, especially patient, funny and nice Charles a walking encyclopedia! We saw an amazing arrange of animals and birds, not to talk about all the trees, we had John (treeman haha) on board. All in all thank you all for again an other wonderful holiday and I definitively join you an other time again.
All the best for all of you!

It was a brilliant trip. Really a once in a lifetime. Piet was brilliant and made sure we were all fine.
Will definitely travel with landscape again and could recommend this trip whole heartedly. It’s a trip that shouldn’t be left too late it’s pretty tiring. But very exciting.
Thanks to all involved for all the work and friendship, especially our team leader Piet.

I would like to know the cost of the tour of the Serengeti. How long are the tours and what costs are covered.

      Dear Tony
Thanks for your enquiry. We run our scheduled tours to the Serengeti each year during May, as that is when we get the best rates and its also the start of the migration season. Each tour is 10 days/9 nights. Our tours start and end in Arusha, Tanzania. Our 2018 cost per person sharing is US$3595.00 or US$3840.00 for a single. We don’t have our 2019 rate yet, but it usually goes up between 8% to 10%. The price includes all accommodation, all meals, the services of both a Landscape tour leader and local guides, transportation (except flights to and from Arusha) and airport transfers. Estimated airfares from Cape Town to Arusha are about R12000.00 per person. The price excludes drinks, visas and items of a personal nature as well as any optional activities such as ballooning.

If you don’t want to join one of our scheduled tours, we can arrange a tailor-made tour for a time of year or duration that suits you.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.
