Grant is the owner and managing director of Landscape Tours. He has been involved in the tourism industry since 1990 and has travelled extensively through out Africa. He has a particular affinity for Namibia.
Samantha studied for her National Tourism Diploma at Boland College in Stellenbosch from January 2014 to June 2015, where she graduated at the top of her class. She joined the Landscape Tours team in February 2016 as an intern to complete her 18-month practical course, after which she will be awarded her diploma. Samantha forms part of the Reservations department, as well as assisting with the operations side of the business. Her cheerful approach and diligent manner makes her a much valued member of our team.
Tessa joined the company in 2016, and is a dynamic addition to the team. She manages all the practical arrangements around booking flights, sending customer confirmation letters, arranging insurance and managing customer accounts and statements.
Trudy has a background in travel, having studied Tourism after leaving school. She worked for South African Airways, as well as Beachcomber Tours before joining Landscape Tours. Trudy is your first port of call when contacting the company, as she is our lovely receptionist, and also forms part of the Reservations department. With her wealth of experience, and warm and friendly manner, clients can rest assured that they are in very capable hands in their dealings with her.
Helen has been with Landscape Tours for the past 7 years, and currently manages the Reservations and HR Department. She also deals directly with all the website enquiries. Helen has nearly 20 years of experience in the industry, having previously worked for Habari Safaris.
Pieter has been with Landscape Tours since 1991. He has extensive experience in touring with groups in Southern and East Africa. Part of his portfolio at Landscape Tours is in planning and running new tours. He enjoys people and is always trying innovative new concepts to keep our tours fresh and original.
Patrick began his guiding career as a game ranger in 2002 working on various private reserves around South Africa. He has also led a few big 5 overnight walks in KZN, hiked a number of mountains & worked in horticulture in the UK. As an avid outdoors-man he has been doing multi-day tours with Landscape Tours & Safari’s since 2010.
Di is a retired Maths and Biology teacher who still has a great love of Nature, be it plants or animals. As an exchange student in USA and doing a vac job in Germany, she has enjoyed travelling extensively. With their 3 young children, she and her husband, Neville, spent a year travelling around the world. She and Neville qualified as Tour Guides four years ago and enjoy guiding for Landscape Tours.
Neville is a retired mechanical engineer who loves travelling and exploring new places. The current season is his fourth working as a Landscape Tours Guide. He also enjoys all sorts of boats, especially sailing yachts. His family means a great deal to him and he thrives on time spent with them. For ten years he farmed apples, peaches and pears in the Villiersdorp Valley. He is an impulsive handyman and always happy to help people.
Alan (Tjomps) Has been working in the hospitality industry since 1995. He has hands-on experience in developing and building lodges, leading groups of all ages and has a deep-seated love of the wilds of Africa. His bush-catering skills are legendary!
Heidi has more than two decades of guiding experience, much of it in the Botswana Wilderness. First as a conservationist in which she is qualified, and later in the tourism industry. Top quality guides are rare breeds who are committed and dedicated professionals. The enthusiasm Heidi generates is a natural spin-off of her way of life. She is a born leader, combining experience in leading expeditions with a wealth of knowledge and excellent organisational skills. Heidi has successfully led camping and lodging safaris in Botswana, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia and Tanzania as well as leading groups at Sealwatch off Prince Edward Island in Canada. She guides in English, Afrikaans and Dutch. Cooking on the fire is her passion.
