Which tour is right for me?Often we design a tour in more than one version to suit the differing physical abilities and interests of our customers. We have put codes (e.g. G, VA etc.) next to each tour date. If you are uncertain, please discuss this with us GENERAL (G) tours are suitable for everyone(subject to the minimum physical requirements in our Tour Conditions). On the tour you can be more or less active as you prefer. VETERAN ACTIVE (VA) tours are ideal for fit and active people between 55 and 70, and the average younger person. Touring days have plenty of activity, with special group walks led by our guide. ECO-ACTIVE (EA) tours explore nature and environment in detail. To do this we visit key points in the veld where your guide will show and discuss interesting features. These walks are often over rough sections, and up and down the occasional steep slope, such as the banks of a dry river bed. You need to be able to take this sort of thing in your stride to fully enjoy the tour. VETERAN LEISURE (VL) tours contain much interest and enjoyment, but are at a very relaxed pace with only gentle undemanding group activities. Generally speaking you have more time to "do your own thing" |

What type of accommodation is provided?
On all our tours accommodation is in clean and comfortable hotels, lodges, guesthouses and National Parks chalets. We take great care to choose quality establishments, in tune with their environment, with friendly and attentive staff. Accommodation is quoted on a basis of two persons sharing a twin / double room with bathroom en-suite. A single supplement is payable should you wish to have your own room with en-suite. Where available we will try to get your preference of a bath or shower. Exceptions occur on certain remote nature safaris, where on some of the nights two single persons may have to share a bathroom, while still having their own bedrooms. These exceptions will be clearly stated in your tour itinerary |
