In spite of there being few flowers to see, I have had a wonderful time. Neville was a superb guide and driver, very efficient and good company. All strangers to begin with and good friends at the end lots of laughter.! Thank you for such a well organised trip. I hope to travel with you again soon. Please keep in touch .
Thank you so much for a wonderful experience! We accept that due to the drought the flowers were not as spectacular as we would have liked it to be, but it was still worthwhile.
The other surprises Pieter had up his sleeve was a wonderful experience. Being a forester and nature conservationist, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Attached is a photo of Quiver tree seeds germinating. I collected these at one of our stops in the Kamiesberge on the way to Leliefontein. (Unfortunately I do not remember the site’s name, but Pieter will recall it as I mentioned it to him.) Hopefully I can contribute to the conservation of these beautiful trees. Please forward to him as I do not have his contact details.
Thank you once again for an unforgettable experience due to Pieter being an excellent guide
Good morning, Tessa
We just wanted to say that we thoroughly enjoyed our trip to see the flowers – even though there weren’t many! But Pieter managed to track down quite a lot on our second day and was very knowledgeable about the climate and the geology. All in all a very enjoyable trip with lovely people.
Do give Pieter a special ‘Thank you’ from us, we look forward to seeing his photos.
